Term I Final Exam Schedule Set for Friday, Oct. 1
Next Friday, Oct. 1 is the Term I Final Exam. It is also a leave weekend. Please review the academic schedule for next Friday, as classes begin at the normal 8:00 AM time and will end at 12:30 PM. Cadets are eligible to go on leave after 12:30 PM, if they have approval from their athletic coach and TAC officer.

Parents Weekend Schedule
Fork Union Military Academy is excited to host Parents Weekend, starting Friday, October 15, 2021. Friday will be packed with events including Founder's Day Cookout, Parents Day Parade and parent-teacher conferences. Cadets will be eligible to leave Friday after the parade. Fork Union to host the October SAT Test Saturday, Oct. 2
Fork Union Military Academy set to host the October SAT Test on campus. Parents and cadets must register online. Once you have registered, make sure to print out the admission ticket for entrance on test day.

An Update from College Placement & Academic Services
At the conclusion of Term 1, Mrs. Kelsey Hill — our Director of College Placement and Academic Services — will begin a month-long maternity leave that will run through the entire month of October. Currently, Mrs. Hill is responsible for the following services to our cadets and families:
- Scheduling Advisor for Grades 9-11 (last names A-K)
- Scheduling Advisor and Senior Seminar/College Placement Counselor for Seniors (last names A-K)
- Oversight of our Resource program, particularly questions about initial enrollment in the program
Throughout October, the following individuals will serve as the direct contact for these services:
- Scheduling/Advising Questions for Cadets in Grades 9-11 (last names A-K) – Dr. James Benson, Assistant Director of College Placement & Academic Services (bensonj@fuma.org)

Foreign Language Department Set to take Cadets to Germany over Spring Break
The Foreign Language Department is set to take cadets and any faculty and staff on a 10-day trip across Germany. The trip is set for March 5 - March 15 and the group will visit Berlin, Prague and Munich.
